My husband has been a runner is entire life. I ran cross country in high school and then had to stop as I had to have my knee replaced (not because of running). I have recently started back up though.

My dh wants us to run the marathon on the great wall of china this year. I told him that I would run the half and let him run the whole. I do not think that I am quite ready for that.

If you are at Benning there is a nice fitness trail by the golf course that is 1.8 miles long. There is never more than 1 or 2 people there.

How exciting! I've been wanting to do a half since I'm working on my third 10 miler noq. My friend put her name in the lottery to run the NY Marathon. A Marathon is still a little much for me, lol! I started running a couple of years ago and at the time could hardly run a mile. Sometimes when you've had a rough day nothing is better than a good run to clear your head!

I'm trying to be!! Haha. I'm slow... but working on it. I've only been runing since about September (and only seriously since January) for the first time in my life (very anti-runner before), but we're getting there.

Doing a 10k Saturday (my knee is hurting though, so hoping it gets better before then!) and then several halfs this summer including my first on May 3!!

I enjoy running, I have a group of girls here at home that I run with (of course I suppose I'll be running on my own once we get stationed somewhere.) Are there any other runners out there?

Funny enough, I've run the Army 10-Miler in Washington D.C. twice before my husband every joined the Army. I'm signed up again this year! I'm also running a 10-miler in D.C. this month - April 26th. I'm not fast, but here lately I'm trying to work on speed so my DH isn't kicking my butt running too bad!
